Northern Mindanao
Waterfalls in Misamis Oriental
Misamis Oriental stretches along the northern coast of Mindanao, with Cagayan de Oro as the main gateway and the highlands of Claveria rising to the east. Our coverage includes Sinulom Falls on the Cagayan de Oro and Bukidnon boundary and Dangayon Falls in Barangay Aposkahoy, Claveria. Sinulom is a developed resort site with a short downhill walk, while Dangayon sits beside the highway and is easy to combine with a drive along the Claveria to Gingoog road. The dry season brings firmer roads and clearer water, and both falls are best visited in the morning before afternoon rain.
