A seven-level waterfall system with a cave hidden behind the main drop, the highlight of the Budlaan river.
The Budlaan river cuts a string of cascades and pools through the hills behind Talamban, and Budlaan Falls, also named Kabang Falls, is usually reached on a short river trek or along a highland trail. The main drop is a tall horsetail ribbon whose water stays in contact with the rock for most of its fall, and a shallow cave behind the falling water offers a sheltered view. Locals also call it Tinisik-Uwang Falls or Kainsing Falls, and the names are used interchangeably. The shaded gorge and cold water make it a popular weekday break from the city, but the flow dries up in the height of summer and turns muddy after heavy rain.
