A deep jungle pool in Lazi with a smooth rock slide and a high rope swing, on the same river as Locong Falls.
Kawasan Falls sits on the same river as Locong Falls, about 500 metres away as the crow flies, a 20 to 30 minute hike, in the hills above Lazi, Siquijor. Water sheets down a smooth, slippery rock face that doubles as a natural slide into a very deep pool, and a rope swing arcs out over the water from a bare rock ledge. A small cave sits beside the falls. Local guides usually meet visitors at the trailhead and lead the steep walk down. The name invites confusion with the much larger Kawasan Falls in Badian, Cebu, and with Bohol's Kawasan Falls.
